Boe Yin's Birthday

It's Boe Yin's 1st birthday on last Wednesday, we celebrated it on last Saturday night, with some relatives and friends, he was happy with smiling face when people sang him the birthday song.

Traditionally, we will put varieties of objects on a small table for the birthday boy to choose, the common items are book, pen, toy, apple, sweet, toy, drinks, biscuits... Every child must go through this norm when he or she turn one year old. As people says, the first thing he picks may indicate what he is in future. If he choose pen, it means he should be a knowledgeble and intelligent man in future. If he choose toy, means he would be a very playful guy...

I purposely went to 'pasar' to buy some apples on that day. At night, with the help of two sisters, we gathered the objects on the small table and let Boe Yin choose. Haha... the first thing he chosed was the yummy Lychee packet drinks, that he tried before. I believe he must be still remember the taste of the drinks and would like to have it again, so he was so happy when he saw that packet, and straight away snatched it before it has been taken away by somebody else. Usually, we would not allow him to hold packet drinks by himself, we will quickly take it away before he could reach it.

I do not know what does this indicated, but I think he is a clever boy, he was so sharp to capture the thing that he like. Anyway, we just took this as something fun to do during his birthday.

Grandpa's birthday

Today is granpa's (YeYe) birthday, all of us are very happy, because we can have dinner with all the cousins - sisters and brothers. The most exciting part is we can play together.

It's not easy to snap a nice photo for Boe Yin, because he was always too active to stay still, he looks very happy too!

YeYe has 12 grandchildren, 6 boys and 6 girls. 1,2,3,4,5,6,... He is carrying his youngest grandchild, at this moment Boe Yin is the youngest.

Heng Kang & Heng Kai always very quiet, Heng Kang likes reading books. When all the kids are playing and chit-chating, he is sitting there and reading book!
Looks very hard working, but reading komics - Pokemon. Anyway, he is doing very well in school too!

My 6th birthday

It's Jayin's birthday on July 16. We have a small celebration for her at home, only a few kids. with the special home made Banana Chocolate Cake that made by Auntie Chee Hooi. This time the cake was super dilicious, Jayin likes it very much. Even Kakak Monica also took it without my notice. If normal sponge cake she normally would not touch... Geram sekali!

Celebration in the school - all the July's babies are required on the stage, holding hands together to form a big circle, with the special made recycle cake in the centre. When the birthday song is playing, they go round and round with smiling faces.

Haha! I have 2 CDs and a princesses printed sling bag as my birthday present.

Happy Sunday

It's a Sunday that we have chance to meet up with an old friend and a new friend. The old friend is mommy's classmate, aunt HoHo. The new friend is the baby girl who is 2 months younger than me. She is Autie Hoho's daughter.

Our new friend - sister Yi Ting

It was a sunny Sunday morning, we were so exciting to go for an outting since Saturday night. Even the 2 year old little boy - brother Yi Hong was happy too. He could stay one night at granny's house without the present of his parents. So cool!

My gang

This is my gang, we go home everyday in Autie Tang's car. Autie Tang is Kai Xin's mom.

Every day, I am the first Autie Tang sent me home, three of them always want to come into my house to play for a while, this always make autie headache. But I think when she sees us laughing and playing happily, she is happy too.

Sport's Day at Tadika Seri Soka

It was Jayin's sport day on May 10, it was a grand event. Most of the students bring their parents, brothers and sisters to attend. And you need to wear the group color, if you want to participate in the games. Jayin is in Red Group. So we needed to wear in red. For girls, it is easy to find one or two pieces red t-shirt in your wardrobe. But I just could not find one for Mr. Chong. So, our Baba Chong have to buy a new T to attend this event. Look at his happy face, I think he is happy to be in red!

This was the first time we joined Jayin's sport's day, because last year I was pregnant, so we did not attend. We were happy we did not miss it this year, it was really an enjoyable one!

Shu Yin and Jayin are looking for those red threads in between the shred papers, they need to pick them out by using the chopsticks.

Hurry up! Run faster and don't look back!

Look at our face, there are white marks that can scare away monsters, so we are safe now!

Son, I'm proud of you!

Boe Yin is only ten months old, I am proud of him. He was different form his two sisters. He was able to stand when he is 7 mths. Both of his sisters only able to walked on their own was they were after 12 mths. But he started to stand on his own when he is 7 mths, and able to walked around a table when he is about 8 mths, now now he walks on his own!
