Graduation Ceremony

Time really flying so fast, I still remember the 1st day that I sent you to this school... it was 2 years ago. You were so happy to meet your good friend - Kai Xin there. Kai Xin and you were good friend since you were 4 years old. That year you were in St. Francis Kindergarden. I sent you to school every morning. Usually I would beeped you from far to see wheter you go to play at the playground or not. I would be very happy to see you playing happily around. Until one day, I saw you just sitting at the little chair by side... I was so curious, then I asked you when you came back from school, you told me that you only want to play with Kai Xin, but that day Kai Xin was absent. After that day, it seemed like Kai Xin never go back to that school, because every time I beeped you, you were not playing at the playground. One day, you came back and told me that Kai Xin would not go back to that school again. You were so disappointed.

You looks very smart in the gown!
I must say thank you to your teachers in TSS, they have putting a lot of effort to train you up. I can see you have improved a lot in a lot of things... You have stopped using milk bottle when Mrs Wong told you not to do so last year. You were not picky in eating anymore, when your teacher taught you so. You understand that this world is so big, and aware of the current event happening else way - Olympic in Beijing, and the earthquake in Szechuan, China... I really proud of you, my dear!
Very soon, you are entering primary school, which is a tougher challenge in your life. I do not know how would it be. I am a little bit worry about you... you were so pampered in TSS. The teachers were so nice and so patient. You told me that you love this school very much, because all the teachers there are very nice, would not scold or beat students. I am happy to find a great school for you. Two months later, you are going to a new school, you are a big girl now. Mommy wishing you all the best and be happy in your new school. I know you were a little bit disappointed that you could not go to the same school with Kai Xin, but you have to learn to face this kind of incident, this is very common and it could not be avoid in life. Since Kai Xin is staying not far from us, two of you still can be friends. Moreover, both of you learning ballet in the same school. I wish two of you be friends forever...

Award Ceremony by Erican

My dear, you looked gorgeous!
After you take the certificate, you were asked to give a short thank you speech which was prepared by the teachers: -" Good morning Mr. Eric Chong, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Chong Shu Yin and I am 9 years old. Learning English in Erican is fun. I love coming to Erican every week. I am sure my English will improve. Thank you, Daddy and Mummy."
It was a nice experience to train up your courage and confident. I understand that it is not easy to speak in front of a hundred people, but you did it. May be you have inherited some of mummy's gene. Keep it up, I am proud of you, my dear!
You were so nervous to stand beside Mr Eric Chong.
Look at your face, you looked like standing stiff there! Haha...

Doesn't he look handsome? Your answer was "NO!" Then I asked who is the handsome one, your answer is daddy. Daddy was so happy, that day he bought you a pair of new shoes. Haha... So now you know what to do next time when you want to ask something from your dad.

I still remember that when you were in year two, you broke you arm in school, we brought you to see a bone specialist in a hospital, after the x-rays, we found that you have a minor crack in your lower arm's bone. But you were not anxious about that, after you came out from the clinic, you asked me: " 妈咪,你觉得那个医生很handsome吗?" I was shocked at that time, but I choose to answer you as if I am your friend, "Yeah..., he is very tall, smart and man!" The doctor was a Malay guy, tall and looked very smart in formal wear with necktie on. I was so surprised that in your age of 8, you started to admire or being attrated by the opposite sex.

I also not forget that you have a little boy friend when you joined the dancing performance in school in the same year. You said he is in class 2G, and he is a clever boy. He offer you that he would like to marry you when he grow up to age 25. And you share with me some of your sweet memory with that little boy friend, where two of you share a packet of Milo with only a straw. Then he give you some souvenier and so on... I reminded you that, you should not engage to only 1 boy friend, just treat him like normal friend like others. You are still young, may be you will meet someone else in high school or in your career... My dear daughter, it is a long way to go...
